Scholarships
At Jay’s Legacy, we believe in the power of education to transform lives. That’s why we proudly offer scholarship opportunities to students attending Utah Tech University, Dixie Tech, and Pine View High School students planning on attending Utah Tech University.
These scholarships are designed to support hardworking students who demonstrate academic dedication, leadership, and a commitment to their communities.
Pine View High School
This scholarship is good for a partial deduction in tuition at Utah Tech University. Eligible exclusively to PVHS students.
Dixie Tech
This is a need-based scholarship fund for students with needs beyond tuition and fees at Dixie Tech. Eligible exclusively to Dixie Tech attendees.

Utah Tech University
Application Summary
Jay’s Legacy is proud to offer this scholarship to Utah Tech University attendees. Scholarship will be awarded to recipient(s) of up to $9000 for tuition. Scholarship is dispersed directly to the University to cover tuition costs. Must have a 3.2 GPA to apply for this scholarship. Scholarship recipients will be required to maintain a 3.2 GPA during the initial semester to receive following semester’s funding. With the submitting of this application form, please include ALL of the items from the ‘Application Checklist’. Official Transcript, essay submission, and letters of recommendations may also be mailed into our P.O. Box or emailed to contact@jayslegacy.org.

- There will be (2) Letters of recommendations, (1) Professional reference and (1) Personal reference. Essay submission must follow prompt and be at least 250 words.
Essay Prompt
This year’s essay prompt is “Getting To Know You.” Start by telling us about yourself—your academic and career goals, extracurriculars, community service, or volunteer work. Share any honors or awards you’ve received, or describe a challenging time in your life and how you overcame it. Reflect on a personal achievement or what success means to you. Lastly, include why you need this scholarship and how it will help you reach your goals.

Application Summary
Jay’s Legacy is proud to offer this scholarship exclusively to Pine View High School students planning to attend Utah Tech University. Scholarship awards recipient between $500 – $1000. Must have a 3.2 GPA to apply for this scholarship. With the submitting of this application form, please include ALL of the items from the ‘Application Checklist’. Official Transcript, essay submission, and letters of recommendations may also be mailed into our P.O. Box or emailed to contact@jayslegacy.org.

Grant Details
Dixie Tech
Application Summary
This could possible be the easiest grant application you ever encounter. All you have to do to receive this grant is be attending Dixie Tech and convey your need to our trusted guidance counselor at Dixie Tech. If the counselor feel your need is significant enough you will be granted an amount determined by that same counselor. The counselor will make a decision on the amount based on the circumstance, need, and amount remaining in the yearly grant budget. With the submitting of this application form, please include ALL of the items from the ‘Application Checklist’. Official Transcript, essay submission, and letters of recommendations may also be mailed into our P.O. Box or emailed to contact@jayslegacy.org.
